Decision directed to Standing Committee
The Standing Committee shall:
a) building on the outcomes of the second jaguar range State meeting contained in document CoP20 Doc. 81 Add., establish an intersessional working group, composed of jaguar range States and other concerned Parties, the Secretariats of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and CMS, UNDP, UNEP and other relevant stakeholders to:
i) provide inputs on the terms of reference of the Steering Committee of the Intergovernmental Platform for jaguars;
ii) provide inputs on the modalities for the operationalization of the Intergovernmental Platform for Jaguar;
iii) identify and evaluate potential sources of financing for the operationalization of the Intergovernmental Platform; and
iv) report back to the Standing Committee; and
b) consider the report of the working group and make recommendations, as appropriate.
