The karst formations and 112 caves contain the geologic history of the last several millions of years with an unusual combination of climatic effects and paleokarst features. The Committee requested the Centre to write to the national authorities to recommended that control is needed over surface activities such as agricultural pollution, deforestation and soil erosion that could effect the independent resources.
