XIV/35: To note that the Russian Federation was in non-compliance with the phase-out benchmarks for 1999 and 2000 for the production and consumption of ozone-depleting substances in Annex A to the Montreal Protocol; To note with appreciation that the data reported by the Russian Federation for 2001 confirms the complete phase-out of production and consumption of ozone-depleting substances in Annexes A and B, as noted by the Thirteenth Meeting of the Parties in Decision XIII/17; To commend the efforts made by the Russian Federation to comply with the control measures of the Montreal Protocol; To recognise the support and assistance rendered by the Parties to the Montreal Protocol to enable compliance by the Russian Federation.
