In accordance with paragraph 5 of Annex II of the Convention, the biennial reporting shall include the socio-economic and commercial information on the substances referred to in Annex I. To this end the Secretariat shall prepare a format for reporting and shall ensure any required confidentiality of the information supplied to it.
