V/24 to note the report of the Secretariat on the applicability of the provisions of the Basel Convention to trade in used controlled substances of the Montreal Protocol and to urge the Parties to the Basel Convention to take appropriate decisions, consistent with the objectives of the Basel Convention and of the Montreal Protocol, in order to facilitate early phase-out of the production and consumption of the controlled substances of the Montreal Protocol.
