The public prosecutor required the court to forbid transgenic soya and corn because of the transgenic contaminations that might result with the environment surrounding transgenic fields. The court considered that a prohibition would be disproportionate because the public prosecutor did not provide any proof supporting the existence of a transgenic contamination risk for the environment.Consequently, the court dismissed the appeal.
