This notice enters into force on 1 January 2016.
Abstract

This Notice, consisting of nine section, three Schedules and prepared under the Nature Conservation Act 1992, provides for the macropod conservation harvesting period, conditions and harvest zones. It applies to the following macropod species and specifies the harvest period from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016. Harvest macropod are: eastern grey kangaroo (Macropus giganteus); or red kangaroo (Macropus rufus); or common wallaroo (Macropus robustus). A harvest zone is: central harvest zone; or the eastern harvest zone; or the western harvest zone. The central harvest zone is the area consisting of the area of each local government mentioned in schedule 2. The eastern harvest zone is the area consisting of the area of each local government mentioned in schedule 2. The western harvest zone is the area consisting of the area of each local government mentioned in schedule 2.
